Nestled on the Central Coast, Catholic Healthcare’s Holy Cross Kincumber brings together compassionate care, thoughtful design and a strong connection to nature, shaping a residential care environment where comfort, dignity and meaningful daily living are supported through spaces that feel calm, familiar and homely.
Holy Cross Kincumber welcomes residents to a calm coastal retreat, where sweeping views and nearby beaches create a gentle connection to the surrounding landscape. Guided by Catholic Healthcare’s mission and with more than 30 years of care experience, the home reflects the organisation’s Inspirit model of care, supporting relationship-centred living and meaningful engagement.
Home to 102 residents, the thoughtfully planned spaces balance functionality with a sense of ease and familiarity. At the heart of the home is a vibrant central link on the ground floor, where residents and visitors gather at the café, join activities in the multi-function room, focus on wellbeing at the gym, enjoy time at the salon, or find quiet reflection in the chapel.
Crown Furniture worked closely with Catholic Healthcare, designer Para Narula from Jackson Teece, and Greg Roshier from PR Aged Care Consulting to deliver furniture solutions tailored to the needs of the home. Each piece was selected to balance durability, safety, and ease of use while supporting the welcoming atmosphere envisioned for the home.
Key pieces, including the Noosa Single Wing and Single Mid Back Lounge, were chosen for their soft curves, contemporary forms, and considered fabrics. Inspired by the coastal setting, furnishings feature gentle shapes and calming finishes that blend naturally with the interiors, supporting mobility and confidence while helping shared and private spaces feel both practical and inviting.
Crown Furniture worked alongside the project team to bring the vision to life through open dialogue and thoughtful planning. Furniture layouts and product selections were carefully considered to create flexible spaces that support everyday life, from wellness programs and social gatherings to quiet moments of rest and reflection.
Furniture plays a subtle yet important role, supporting independence and daily routines while allowing care, community, and connection to remain at the heart of the home at Holy Cross Kincumber.
