Maryborough District Health Service, Victoria
The $115 million redevelopment of Maryborough District Health Service ushers in a new era for regional healthcare. Expanding capacity and services from urgent care and maternity to oncology and outpatient care—the facility combines modern medical technology with thoughtfully planned, patient-centred environments that balance clinical functionality, comfort, and community wellbeing.

Maryborough Hospital Older Persons Mental Health Unit
Within the broader Maryborough Hospital, the Older Persons Mental Health Unit stands as a dedicated service. With state-of-the-art facilities, the Southern Remand Centre is Tasmania’s premier correctional facility, purpose-built to balance security and rehabilitation.
Designed by Xsquared Architects and Guymer Bailey Architects, the centre demonstrates how thoughtful design can support rehabilitation. Natural light, calming spaces, and durable, secure furniture by Crown Furniture foster a supportive environment, promoting wellbeing while maintaining stringent security standards.
Superior materials
Our furniture is crafted with FSC-certified European beech hardwood in our solar powered factory. Flow through foams and UV resistant fabrics are used for outdoors, moisture barrier fabrics and vinyl's on flame retardant foams for indoors and all exposed timber finished with anti-microbial coatings.
