Purposeful collaboration took centre stage at the 7th Annual Health Care in Secure Settings Conference 2025, held on Thursday 31 July and Friday 1 August 2025 at the International Convention Centre Sydney. Leaders in justice health, forensic mental health and custodial care gathered to explore innovations and strategies for delivering high‑quality healthcare in some of Australia’s most complex environments.
The two‑day program featured expert speakers, interactive sessions and case studies, offering insights into evidence‑based practice, clinical excellence, workforce development, and practical solutions to challenges unique to secure healthcare settings. Delegates left with actionable strategies to enhance safety, wellbeing, and care outcomes for both residents and staff.
Crown Furniture was proud to participate as a sponsor and exhibitor. Our exhibition stand attracted strong interest, with many delegates stopping by to explore our purpose‑built furniture solutions designed specifically for secure healthcare environments. Our team, Terry and Hartley represented Crown Furniture on the ground, engaging with healthcare professionals, sharing insights, and demonstrating how thoughtfully designed environments can support dignity, reduce risk, and improve staff efficiency.
The event reinforced the vital role that furniture and design play in creating safer, more therapeutic spaces. For Crown Furniture, it was an opportunity to connect with sector leaders, learn about emerging needs, and showcase solutions that help healthcare teams deliver care with confidence.
We thank Justice Health NSW for organising a successful conference and look forward to continuing our partnerships across the sector to shape safer, supportive, and person‑centred care environments.
