Aged Care Design & Dementia Research 2024

We co-hosted a highly anticipated event focusing on Aged Care and Dementia Design. This event attracted a diverse audience of industry professionals, all eager to gain deeper insights into enhancing care environments. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Vivid Sydney lights, the event was both visually striking and mentally stimulating.

The keynote speaker, Lucy O’Flaherty, CEO of Columbia Aged Care, led the event. Lucy is a respected figure in the field of dementia design, and her extensive knowledge and passion for improving aged care environments captivated attendees. She offered a fresh and innovative perspective on creating spaces that truly support the needs of residents.

During her session, Lucy discussed several cutting-edge strategies and practical design principles aimed at enhancing the quality of life for aged care residents. She emphasised the importance of creating environments that are not only functional but also therapeutic and comforting.
