Person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design, with Crown Furniture brought in to provide luxury fit-for-purpose furniture throughout. From the common areas to the private accommodations, no detail has been spared.
Onsite with the Gordon Quarter Retirement Village, the grounds include heritage-listed buildings that reflect the rich history of the estate, with furnishings contributing to the sense of luxury and grandeur.
Residents enjoy spacious common areas and beautifully landscaped gardens and terraces as well as an on-site salon, fitness room and Gowrie Café. A dedicated lifestyle team provides regular activities for residents with the Rhythm of Life® program empowering residents to choose how they spend their day, from meals to activities, outings and more.
In order to facilitate this independence, it was important that the furniture not only looked great, but was safe and functional too.
The Crown Furniture team worked to provide unique fit-for-purpose furniture pieces that allow staff and residents to enjoy every space at every stage of life. From dementia-friendly designs and upholsteries to furniture designed to be moved and reconfigured to allow spaces to be used for multiple activities in a day.
The end result is a stunning state-of-the-art aged care home where residents are thriving and loved ones are welcomed.
