We must all work towards a greener world, so that tomorrow can be more sustainable than today. As a company involved in manufacturing, we are keenly aware of our responsibilities when it comes to the environment and employment.
ISO 14001:2015
We are certified to the ISO 14001:2015 international environmental management system. This means we continually improve our sustainability performance, minimise our environmental footprint, and comply with all our legal requirements. It also means you can trust us to protect biodiversity, reduce waste, conserve energy, and save costs.
Sustainable timber
In our furniture. we use only FSC-certified beech hardwood. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-governmental organisation, and their certification confirms that timber is from forests which are properly managed. This preserves biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers.
Solar energy
Our commitment to cleaner energy means that around 80% of our warehousing and manufacturing facility is powered by the sun. In 2020, our solar panels produced 114MWh of energy – to put it in context, that’s enough to power an electric vehicle for 660,475 KMs!
Supporting our communities
We uphold the human rights of our own employees as well as those in our supply chain. We understand that the business decisions we make impact the lives of others. That’s why we assess our company and supply chain for risks of modern slavery, bribery and corruption, illegal logging and environmental malpractice, and workplace health & safety.
